Poson Bathi Gee

The Poson Bathi Gee at Highlands College is a sacred and melodious event celebrating the significance of Poson Poya, which marks the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka. Students and staff come together to sing traditional “Bathi Gee” (devotional songs), creating a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. Through these performances, the Highlands community honors the values of compassion, mindfulness, and spiritual reflection. The Poson Bathi Gee event not only deepens the students’ connection to Sri Lanka’s Buddhist heritage but also fosters a sense of unity and cultural pride.
